Class Description

This is Writing 39A, the first class of lower-division writing in UCI. It’s an intensive writing class which requires us to read and write for a large amount of time. It aims to help us become better writer, reader, and critical thinkers. In professor Haas’s class, specifically, we would be studying and analyzing Disney films and gender roles and how they affect our society.
